Johanna L. Cochran's journey from Veracruz, Mexico, to becoming a defender for immigrant rights is fueled by her unwavering passion for justice and empathy for those in need. As a proud graduate of Emory University School of Law, where she dedicated herself to the art of advocacy as an oralist and brief writer for the Emory Moot Court Society, Johanna brings not only legal expertise but also a heart-centered approach to her practice, which now extends beyond a decade. 

 

Before her legal career, Johanna earned her stripes in the academic world, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. However, it was her deep-seated desire to make a tangible difference in people's lives that ultimately led her to pursue law. Johanna's commitment to immigration law predates her time in law school, and she has since become a beacon of hope for countless individuals navigating the complexities of the immigration system. Her journey has been marked by countless success stories, each representing a life changed for the better. In the courtroom, Johanna is a passionate advocate for her clients, tirelessly defending their rights and interests.
